Kan iemand me pls uitleggen hoe je layers gebruikt... M'n tekeningen zien dr nl ni uit... =C
Het lukt niet erg dus ehm... daarom vraag k hier maar...

Layers zijn maar een klein hulpmiddel, als je tekeningen er echt niet uitzien kan je daar alleen wat aan doen door beter te tekenen.

Maar goed, layers zijn als het ware doorzichtige vellen papier die over elkaar liggen.

Klik in Shi-painter op de "layer" aanduiding rechts onderaan om het bijbehorende menu tevoorschijn te toveren. Soms verschijnt het in het klein. In dat geval kan je even aan de rechteronderhoek trekken om het te vergroten.

Je ziet dat er standaard al 3 layers zijn.
Je mogelijkheden:
- Klik op de naam (Layer0, Layer1, Layer2) om een bepaalde layer te selecteren
- Je kan de layers ook verslepen om de volgorde te veranderen of om twee layers met elkaar te combineren.
- Klik/sleep op het gedeelte waar "100%" staat om de layers transparant te maken
- Klik op het rondje ernaast om layers zichtbaar of onzichtbaar te maken.
- Klik op "menu" om nieuwe layers toe te voegen, een layer te verwijderen of alle layers samen te voegen.

Nu weet je wel zo'n beetje alles. Verder is het een zaak van proberen. Succes!

wat ik persoonlijk erg fijn vind, is dat je een voorbeeld van de layer krijgt als je er overheen gaat met je cursor.. (in te stellen bij menu -> use preview)

In bbs krijg je twee layers (background; bg & foreground; fg) Maak je schets op de bg layer, trek nette lijntjes op de fg layer. Gum de bg layer uit. Nu kun je op de bg layer inkleuren zonder dat je de lineart beschadig. Als je een gedeelte af hebt met kleuren, druk je op fg, en vervolgens op layer unify (een paar keer op copy drukken) Selecteer het hele scherm en nu staat ook het ingekleurde gedeelte op de fg layer. Nu kan je verder tekenen op de bg layer, zonder dat je over de lineart en het al ingekleurde gedeelte heen gaat.

ik heb een probleem:
ik maak steeds eerst een beginlayer met een schets er op
op een layer daarover heen breng ik kleuren en schaduwen aan en dan gum ik de schets-layer uit.
Probleem is dat op de bovenste layer steeds witte lijntjes om de tekening verschijnen. dit gebeurt o.a. als ik blur gebruik.
Hoe kan ik dit voorkomen?

De layers zijn niet helemaal perfect. Je krijgt ook "witte randjes" als je met de watercolour tool over een transparante (lege) layer gaat kleuren.
Ik kleur met watercolour eigenlijk alleen onder line-art of op een niet transparante (gevulde) laag.

Zelfs in Photoshop kan je soms wat vage witte randen krijgen wanneer je de "smudge" tool gebruikt.

Ik gebruik geen blur en geen watercolours, en dat bevalt me prima. Als je toch watercolours gebruikt, moet je die maar op een laag gebruiken, en alleen als je met line-art werkt. Tenminste, dat is mijn ervaring, en ik weet dat di eerg beperkt is

Ik gebruik wel eens dodge layers in Photoshop... Zo lang je maar maat weet te houden kan het best een nuttig effect zijn. Ik gebruik het dan ook nooit om highlights aan te brengen, maar om hier en daar het contrast wat op te krikken.
